Cotton Field Dreams

At the beginning of October our family was driving out in the boonies to a pumpkin patch.

On our way I spotted a cotton field in full bloom and just about nearly made my husband stop that instant so I could go frolick in it. I’ve never seen a cotton field so close to where I live and I was giddy! Instead, I immediately contacted my neighbor and asked if their daughter would want to take some photos there, and she was more than happy to oblige.

And yall, this little session filled me with more joy and excitement about photography than I’ve felt in years. It woke up all of my creative desires, and quite honestly led to the busy fall I was gifted with. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do.
