Oct 23 Josiah Turns 4 | The Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday my baby turned 4. I can still vividly remember sitting in the hospital recliner chair the morning he was born, looking out the window as the sun was rising, and knowing I'd never forget that moment. My first morning holding my baby.

We spent the day out at Chester's Party Barn, aka the pumpkin patch waaaay past the sticks. Like, four miles of dirt roads to get there. But Josiah and his cousins had a ton of fun. There was a hayride out to a corn maze, a giant slide for the kids, tons of animals to pet, and a pony ride. It was the perfect adventure for a 4 year old :)

I'm so thankful God chose for him to be in our family. I love his joy, his enthusiasm, his curiosity, his gentle spirit. I pray that God would make himself known, even at this young age, to Josiah, and that he would continue to grow in love and compassion. Happy 4th birthday, sweet boy.
