Classic Oklahoma Wedding With A Rustic Touch

Classic Oklahoma Wedding With A Rustic Touch

On July 16, Kelsie & Trent were married in Elk City, Oklahoma inside a gorgeous old church. The creaky floors and stained glass windows told a story of a church that has withstood time - what a perfect backdrop for two lives becoming one.

Just down the street, Trent waited in the sweltering July heat to see his bride for the first time. The minute he turned around and laid eyes on her, the world stopped as tears flowed freely. As the rest of the wedding party watched from afar in air conditioned cars, I hardly directed Kelsie & Trent to do anything. She fell into his arms so naturally. It was the perfect first look.

Thank you, Mr & Mrs Mikles, for choosing me to document your wedding. I imagine you sitting around a coffee table with grandchildren one day sharing these photos and the sweet memories of this day.

And I can't post this wedding without mentioning Monica and Scott of The Wedding Smith who worked flawlessly behind the scenes to create the most peaceful, smooth sailing and relaxed day for everyone involved. I can't think of a single thing that went awry for Kelsie & Trent. Huge, huge thanks to them - I can't recommend them enough for wedding coordinating services!
