I recently came back from a two week trip with my 4 year old son to visit family in Canada. This was the first time him and his cousin had been together since they were 4 and 8 months old, so it was pretty special. We got them together with Grandma and Opa, and their great grandparents for a few photos, despite my kids very strong willed defiance against his momma taking photos. We had to take many swinging breaks and snack breaks to enforce cooperation (this is why we professionals hire other professionals to take our own photos!)

I wish you could look behind the scenes and see the whining and tears and frustration! You'd never guess by looking at these. Anyway, I'm so glad we got some extended family photos together, because who knows when we'd ever have a chance like this again.
